Levisham is correct.

In this instance the picture was taken from the warm, dry interior of a Mk1 carriage, as we pulled into the station.

Continuing our mini break up country, in very autumnal weather. Where were Finn and I today?

I rather think Finn had found his way into the warm and dry signal box, while laughing at you still out there taking pictures in the rain.

Levisham, NYMR. I took some students on a volunteering week painting the NRM’s steam crane some years back. At the end of the week they offered the students a footplate ride on the steam engine. However, they asked for a ride on the Deltic. Following a call to the owners it was rostered for the day and their wish given. I will look out some photos tomorrow.

The 03 was out morning transport from Goathland to the depot where the crane was. Oiur return was eithr by train of walking up the line after the service had ended

Funnily enough, my wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon 'up North' (we both being from 'down South'), so I know exactly where that is.

However, I shall let others have a go first.
